Erik Berchot

Erik Berchot is a Pianiste French born in 1958.

Very early it enters to the Conservatoire Higher National of Music of Paris where it obtains a price of Piano and Chamber music. He becomes thereafter soloist with Radio France.

Michel Legrand, which divides regularly the scene with Erik Berchot, transcribed with its intention the Umbrellas of Cherbourg , Yentl and the Mills of my heart (version for two pianos).

He was requested for recordings devoted to, inter alia, Chopin, Rachmaninov, Saint-Saƫns, Debussy.

In 2007, he is the pianist of Charles Aznavour with the Palais of the Congresses.
