Eric Salvail

Eric Salvail is a TV host Québécois born with Sorel in 1969.

It began its career like organizer from crowd for the emission the Point J animated by Julie Snyder, then it was Co-organizer of an emission of kitchen putting in the high-speed motorboat Maman Dion for then animating the emission of TV-reality Occupation Doubles with the Réseau VAT during two seasons. Since January 2006, it animates the Talk show One does not have all the evening , also not diffused on chain VAT.

The style of humor of Salvail caused several controversies. November 12th, 2006, Salvail takes the high-speed motorboat in a number where it drives out with cursed French in the streets of Paris, then captures of them one which he trails in a net. The actor enamels his number of stereotypes with regard to the French, qualifying them moreover animals and loud-voiced people .

The business raises a commotion and the Conseil of broadcasting and Canadian telecommunications receives a hundred complaints of furious televiewers. Salvail was also personified by Guy A. Lepage in the review of the year 2006 in Quebec: Bye Bye 2006 , written and played by the group Rock'n'roll and Belles Ears, joined together again for the occasion. The humorous group then parodied the interpretation of the song It was once happy people which had made the Dion family a few months before at the time of One does not have all the evening .
