Eric Idle

Life after Monty Python

After Monty Python ceased being a regular active formation in the middle of the the Seventies, each of the six members continued solos projects with variable degrees of critical and commercial success. Idle appreciated the acclamation of criticism for its work with Neil Innes by creating Rutles, although initially it was not a business success. But its following solos projects in the the Eighties and 90 met an unequal success.
