Eric Gerets

Eric Gerets , born the May 18th 1954 with Rekem, in Belgium, is old a Football Belgian international or which played as a defender for the Standard of Liege, PSV Eindhoven and for the team of Belgium.

He is trainer today and after being last by FC Bruges, PSV Eindhoven or Galatasaray, he involves the Olympique of Marseilles since September 25th 2007 (after having refused offers of Al Ittihad and Gençlerbirliği), to replace Albert Emon.

In club

Gerets gained two titles of Champion of Belgium with the Standard of Liege and six titles of Champion of the Netherlands with PSV Eindhoven, club with which it also gained the Ligue of the champions in 1988. It should be noted that the six titles of champion of the Netherlands were obtained in seven seasons played with PSV Eindhoven, the seventh season it gained only the Coupe!
