Eric Bélanger

Eric Bélanger (born the December 16th 1977 with Sherbrooke with the Quebec, Canada) is a player of professional Hockey of the National league of hockey.

Career of player

He was fished out by Kings at the time of the Repêchage of entry in the LNH 1996, with the 96e position. Before being fished out, Bélanger played its hockey junior in the Ligue of hockey major junior of Quebec, with the Harfangs de Beauport and the Océanic de Rimouski. It also disputed matches with the Canadian of Fredericton, the Falcons de Springfield and the Lock Monsters de Lowell in the American Ligue of hockey like with the Ice Dogs de Long Beach of the international league of hockey.

Bélanger took part in its first match in the LNH the October 6th 2000. At the time of the lockout during the season 2004-05, it played for the club of Bolzano in Serie has.

September 29th, 2006, Bélanger and Tim Gleason were exchanged with the Hurricanes of the Caroline in return of Oleg Tverdovsky and Jack Johnson. After having also played Thrashers of Atlanta, it joined the Wild of Minnesota in 2007.
