Introduction

The history proceeds in Romdeau, a futuristic city sheltered under a dome, built to protect the community from survivors of a virus which prevails outside. In this city, the human ones and the robots (autoreivs) coexist peacefully. But murder series caused by robots contaminated by the virus Cogito start to sow the disorder in the fragile balance which governs the company. To the top of all that, the government leads secret experiments on a mysterious form of life humanoïde baptized Proxy , which seems to be the key of a great capacity. The series begins with the escape from Proxy from the governmental laboratories.

In an interview with Doug McGray, Dai Sato describes its last project:

" The adventure proceeds in the future. A group of robots is contaminated by a virus baptized Cogito and then becomes conscious of its own entity. These robots, which were the trusty servants of the human ones, thus undertake to leave to research them same. They must determine if the infectious agent which contaminated them created their identity, or if this one develops during their tour. This question represents our own debate in connection with what returns to us such as we are: if that is due to our environment or to factors which are in us. The robots carry all of the names of philosophers: Derrida, Lacan, Husserl. "

Communities remain apart from the domes, agglutinant around those, living of their rejections, or in small more or less isolated communities. Survival is difficult there, the surrounding air being toxic, going until resulting in death.

The communities of the domes survive thanks to the assistance of Androïde S, the autoreivs, which, by a constant presence, help them in all their activities, and incidentally, supervise them.
