Erckmann-Chatrian

Erckmann-Chatrian is the name under which two writer S French signed: Emile Erckmann and Alexandre Chatrian.

In their work, the rustic Realism, influenced by the storytellers of the Black Forest, is transfigured in a popular kind of epopee.
