The Erbaluce di Caluso spumante is an Italian sparkling wine of the area Piedmont equipped with a name DOC. since July 16th, 1974. Only to DOC. the white wines collected inside the surface of production defined by the decree are entitled. The authorized vineyards are located in Province of Turin, Province of Verceil and in Province of Biella in the communes of Caluso, Agliè, Azeglio, Bairo, Barone Canavese, Bollengo, Borgomasino, Burolo, Candia Canavese, Caravino, Cossano Canavese, Cuceglio, Ivrea, Maglione, Mazzè, Mercenasco, Montalenghe, Orio Canavese, Romano Canavese, Palazzo Canavese, Parella, Perosa Canavese, Piverone, Scarmagno, Settimo Rottaro, San Giorgio Canavese, San Martino Canavese, Strambino, Vestignè, Vialfrè, Villareggia, Vische, Moncrivello, Roppolo, Viverone and Zimone.
The vineyards are located on croups of many the Moraine S close to Ivrée in the area of Canavais (Canavese in Italy).
