Equus is an English play of " Peter Shaffer created in 1973.

Synopsis

Equus tells the ultra-dark history of Alan Strang, a teenager apparently without concern, which bursts the eyes of six horses in an excess of insanity. A psychiatrist, Martin Dysart tries to disentangle the psychological hank of his young patient.

Version of 2007

This part is played Gielgud Theater of London of the February 27th to the June 9th 2007. The part of the teenager is played by Daniel Radcliffe, more known for its interpretation of Harry Potter. This role is demanding because it comprises scenes of nudity. The part of the psychiatrist is played by Richard Griffiths which is not other than the uncle Vernon in Harry Potter.
