Equiprojectivity

The equiprojectivity is a property of a certain class of Torseur to which belonged the kinematic Torseur of a solid in Physique.

Example of the field of the Flight Path Vectors

In mechanics of the indeformable solid, one with the relation:

\ vec V _O = \ vec V _M + \ vec {OM} \ wedge \ vec \ Omega

By making the scalar product by \ vec {OM} , one directly obtains the relation of equiprojectivity of the Flight Path Vectors:

(\ vec V _O | \ vec {OM}) = (\ vec V _M | \ vec {OM})

In general

In the general case, the property of equiprojectivity is intrinsically related to the concept of Torseur. The equiprojectivity of the field of the Flight Path Vectors rises thus from the kinematic concept of Torseur.
