Equiprobable

Definition

Two events $A$ and $B$ are known as equiprobable if and only if they check the equation:

$P\; \backslash \; left\; (\backslash \; right\; has)\; =\; P\; \backslash \; left\; (B\; \backslash \; right)$, where $P$ indicates the function probability.

Examples

• Under ideal conditions, while launching a coin in the air, the events " the visible face will be pile " and " the visible face will be face " are equiprobable.

• Is $n$ an unspecified natural entirety. The events " $n$ is even " and " $n$ is odd " are also equiprobable.
