Equipped fire valve
A valve equipped fire , or RIA , is a device of Lutte against the fire installed in some establishments receiving from the public and in very many industrial plants. It is about a device of first intervention, making it possible to attack a Feu incipient before its extension, while waiting for the arrival of the firemen.
It amongst other things includes/understands a semi-rigid pipe, rolled up on a reel which is sometimes swivelling, it is fed permanently in Eau, with a sufficient pressure and a flow (2,5 minimum bar), from where its name of armed . It is thus not flattened but preserves its circular section, which makes it possible to use it even without entirely unrolling it. It is finished by an end allowing two types of jet, a known as stick, the other diffused, whose diameter is variable according to the importance of the risk, one generally finds ends having an adjutage of 6 for the RIA of nominal diameter (DN) 19, 8 for the DNN 25 and 12 for the DNN 33.
The RIA of a ERP, must be laid out so that their lances cover the totality of the surface of an establishment. More precisely, the RIA will have to be laid out so that any point of the surface of the protected buildings is covered by at least two jets in diffused position. In the establishments commercial receiving from the public and higher than 3000 m ² protection RIA is complementary to installation of an automatic extinction to water of the type Sprinkleur.
