The team of the United States of female football is the national team which represents the the United States in the major competitions of female Football: the Football world cup female, the Olympic Games of summer, the female Gold Cup and the Algarve Cup. It is under the aegis of the federation of the United States of football (in English: United States Soccer Federation, US).
The United States is regarded as one of the strongest footballing nations female on the world plan as its prize list proves it (which of many trophies enables him to be the team most titrated in the world): two titles of World cup in 1991 and 1999, two titles Olympic in 1996 and 2004, six titles of the female Gold Cup in 1991,1993,1994,2000,2002 and 2006, and five titles of Algarve Cup in 2000,2003,2004,2005 and 2007. It is currently 2nd with the classification FIFA behind the Germany.
They evolve/move in white shirt with the shoulders of blue and the red, white shorts and white socks. Their nickname is the " WNT".

History
1985-1991: Beginnings and first nation world champion
