The team of Russia of female basketball is the selection of the best Russian players. It is placed under the aegis of the Russian Fédération of Basketball. The team is qualified for next the Championnat of the world which will be held 12 with the September 23rd 2006 with São Paulo (Brésil).
Russia took part until in 1991 pennies the colors of the team of the USSR then at the time of the Olympic Games of 1992 under the colors of the unified team.
