The team of Japan of football is under the aegis of the Fédération of Japan of football.
History
The Japan is regarded as one of the best teams of Football of the Asian continent , with the South Korea and the Iran, in spite of its limited enough number of participations in the World cup.Its first participation is rather recent, in 1998 in France. Japanese, inexperienced in spite of the talent of young a 23 year old player named Hidetoshi Nakata, sets out again with 3 defeats.
Four years later, at the time of her World cup with it, Co-organized with her enemy sister, the South Korea, the Japanese team has other ambitions. One year before the great appointment, it reaches the final of the Coupe of the Confederations 2001 (beaten by the France). In 2002, Japan, pulled by Philippe Troussier, leaves first of its group (in particular thanks to a great victory vis-a-vis the Russia) before being made eliminate in eighth from finale by the Turkey (0-1).

Japan continues to progress. It gained the two last editions of the Coupe of Asia of the nations. Since the success of Hidetoshi Nakata in Italy, the European clubs have tendency to importing Japanese players more and more, in particular to recover the right of image.
Since Nakata left to the retirement in spite of its young age, Japan counts on Shunsuke Nakamura, new number 10, a left-handed person with the surgical precision…
