The team of Japan of female football , or Nadeshiko Japan (なでしこジャパン) , is consisted a selection of the best Japanese players under the aegis of the Fédération of Japan of football.

The nickname Nadeshiko Japan was named by a public participation of JFA was selected among roughly 2,700 adversaries and was announced on July 7th, 2004. " Nadeshiko" , a kind of eyelet comes from the expression “Yamato Nadeshiko (大和撫子)” (average “a gracious Japanese woman”) and Japan has a wish that the team beats and pass in the world.
