The team of Italy of hockey is the national selection of the Italy gathering the best Italian players of Hockey at the time of international competitions. The team is under the supervision of the Italian Fédération of the winter sports. The team is classified at present 17th in the world by IIHF (2006). The best performance of the team in international competition is one 4th place in 1953.
