Blue

Mad years (1920-1932)

Female football is essential in France after the First World War with the installation of a championship of France in 1919. The April 29th 1920, a first match international enters an English formation of Preston, Dick-Kerr' S Ladies, and a selection of the best French players. The part moves more than 25.000 spectators with Manchester. France gains 0-2 and buckles its first English round with two victories, no one and a defeat. In October 1920, 12.000 spectators attend the Stade Pershing of Paris to the return match of the precedent. A tie 1-1 sanctions this part.

New English round for the team of France in May 1921. The Blue ones are essential at the time of their first match (1-5), then box three short defeats. In October 1921, the team of Algeria moves in France (Paris, Le Havre), but in two meetings vis-a-vis the team of France no goal is registered.

The rounds on the other side of the channel continue in spite of the prohibition of female football by F the December 5th 1921. Thus, a round takes place as of spring 1922. Victorious with Plymouth (1-2), the Blue ones concede the null ones without goal in Exeter and Falmouth.

French female football is breathless in 1932, and ceases its activities on this date. The last match of the team of France of the Federation of the Sporting Female Companies of France is held the 3 April 1932. It is a tie without goal vis-a-vis the Belgium with Brussels.

Rebellious years (1968-1985)

Let us pichons French players, and rémoises particularly, is very active at the end them years 1960 to make recognize the existence of female football. One year before federal green light, the Blue ones take part in a Cut of pirate Europe with three other nations: England, Denmark, and Italy. Italy is crowned champion. In the tread of the recognition of the female football which takes place finally in 1970, the girls set up a first pirate World cup gained by Denmark. France is not present at this competition, but takes share in 1971 with the 2nd edition which is held in Mexico. The girls will have to still repeat their pirate organizations, i.e. in margin of the FIFA, until the latter admits the interest of such a competition (1991). The UEFA yields as of 1982 while taking charges the organization with it with the championships of Europe.

The girls of the Stade of Rheims constitutes the best French formation between the end of the Années 1960 and the beginning of the Années 1980. At the time of the not-official World cup disputed in 1978 with Taiwan, the team of aligned France is in fact the formation of the Stage of Rheims to large complete. The girls of the Stage remove the title with perfect equality with the Finnish selection, final stage out of hen without finale obliges.

The match of April 17th, 1971 vis-a-vis the Netherlands was the first international match officially recognized by the FIFA.

Years of crisis (1985-1998)

After the hopes born during the rebellious years, and the correct level reached by the best French players, one could hope to see the team of France appearing well in the prize lists; it of it is nothing. Female football is clearly maltreated by the Federation which really does not make a point of developing its female manpower… President Fournet-Beech was particularly " efficace" on this level… The team of France shines then by her absences at the time of the great international tournaments.

The years Clairefontaine (1998-2006)

Under the impulse of Aime Jacquet, high level female football is dealt with by the teams of Clairefontaine. The players of the team of France has, but also the young players, automatically profit from now on, as well as the boys, of the facilities offered by the structures of Clairefontaine. Under the crook of Elisabeth Loisel, the first results appear encouraging. Let us quote the first participation in a World cup FIFA in 2003 after having drawn aside England in match chopper. The Blue ones are essential initially 0-1 on London then confirms with Geoffroy-Guichard (1-0) in front of more than 23.000 spectators! This multitude is all the more important as the match was diffused on line by Canal +. The girls of Loisel are qualified for the female championship of Europe (2005) but fail in 2006 to qualify with the world 2007.

The Bini years (since 2007)

Bruno Bini is named selector the February 16th 2007.
