Equation of Vlassov

The equation of Vlassov describes the dynamics of the particles in a plasma by neglecting the effect of the binary collisions on their trajectory. She is written:

\ frac {\ partial F} {\ partial T} + \ bold v. \ frac {\ partial F} {\ partial \ bold R} + \ frac {Q} {m} E+ \ bold v \ times \ bold B. \ frac {\ partial F} {\ partial \ bold v} =0

The fields electric \ bold E and magnetic \ bold B take account of the forces applied to the particles as well as average electromagnetic field generated by the particles itself.
