Epoxy

Epoxy of is an epoxy contraction.

The epoxy is a chemical grouping which gives its name to molecules or monomeric epoxy then by extension to the polymers Polyépoxyde. The polyépoxydes couremment are couremment used like Colle S (most known being the Araldite) or painting. It presents chemical properties which make it useful in the food field and for construction. Indeed, once “dryness”, it does not react practically any more with food and oxygen (first factor of degradation of processed food), it thus acts like a barrier. Once “dry”, it takes also a rigid form, which makes it possible to use it to reinforce the containers which are coated with it.

Moreover, when it polymerizes, it reacts chemically with organic materials. This reaction makes of it an adhesive having a good factor of traction in the presence of many materials.

Like adhesive, it is also employed to carry out printed circuits.

The epoxy resin is also used for the realization of ground industrialists and decorative.
