Eonia

Eonia ( Euro OverNight Index Average ) is the daily Reference rate of the interbank deposits in white (i.e. without being guaranteed by titles) carried out to the day-the-day in the euro area.

It is about the average, balanced by the amounts, of the rates actually treated on the interbank Money market of the euro during the day by a broad sample of large banks, for the deposits/ready until the wrought following day. It is one of the two reference rates of the money market of the euro area, with the Euribor, which covers him to them durations going from one week to one year.
