Entropion

A entropion is a rolling up towards the interior (towards the Cornée) of the free edge of the Paupière. It is at the origin of an irritation and a Inflammation of the cornea and Conjonctive (keratoconjunctivitis) as well as séreux flow being able surinfecter. With time, the friction of the eyelid on the cornea is at the origin of a corneal Ulcère.

The entropion can have three possible causes: congenital, spasmodic or cicatricial.

The treatment can be either medical (it is simply palliative in this case) or surgical (only solution with the problem).
