Entremont (Haute-Savoie)
Entremont is a common French, located in the department of the Haute-Savoie and the area the Rhone-Alps.

It would seem that the commune holds its name of its topographic situation: blotti between the solid mass of Aravis and that of the Terminals, the village is located on the leaning inferior of the mount of the Troughs (1822 m), “Intramontis”, between the mounts thus.

Heraldic
The common one chose to be represented by the weapons of one of its more famous inhabitants, the abbot Marc Antoine de Granery.
