Its vegetative form is very small (5 microns), in racket or triangle; it carries 3 ahead whip (a simple and one duplicated) while one whips recurring cĂ´toie the body which it exceeds largely behind. There is neither axostyle nor membrane undulating.
She lives in the large intestine, especially year level of the cecum, and finds herself in the saddles where, losing her vitality quickly, she swells and becomes not very recognizable. The very small cystic form is an oval of 6 microns containing 1 to 4 cores which is sometimes confused, in spite of its size twice less, with that of the Giardia.
