Entablature

One calls entablature :
-
the part supported by a colonnade which is located between the capital and the Corniche;
- the very important stringcourse crowning a frontage either directly under the roofs, or before the withdrawal of the last stage (attic);
- the upper part of the ancient order including/understanding: the Architrave, the plank and the Cornice.
