Enka

The enka is a popular style of Chant Japanese dating from the Period Showa. Two topics are largely represented there, sorrows of Amour and the native land (“ furusato ” in Japanese); by native land one understands the village, the city or the district where one was born and where one grew. Currently this style is especially appreciated by the people of a certain age. The large singer of enka is Hibari Misora. This song uses the pentatonic range.
