Engineers 2000

Engineers 2000 is a Training center of Apprentices (CFA) located at Champs-sur-Marne. He proposes two types of formations, for which he delegates teaching at various organizations, leading to obtaining the diploma of High-level technicien or to that of Engineer in various branches of industry.

It is one of the first to have set up the alternation over the three years of the cycle engineer. Indeed, the training is authorized in the higher education in France since 1991.

The rate/rhythm of alternation

It currently follows the following rate/rhythm:
  • 1st year : one month at the school, then one month in company. Then two months in company and two months follow to the school. In the same way, a last period of twice three months closes this first year.
  • 2nd year : three months at the school, then three months in company, then still three months at the school and finally three months in company.
  • 3rd year : six months - six months (six months at the school, then six months in company, or conversely).

The dies spring start in September with the period in company, contrary to the dies autumn which begin their formation by the courses.

Note: Before, the formation was exempted according to an alternation of six months - six months on all the cycle. The Commission of the titles of engineer having asked so that the first year is done on a shorter cycle, standard one month - one month , a compromise was found. Promotions of first year follow thus, since the re-entry 2006, the rate/rhythm of one month - one month , two months - two months then three months - three months . As of the re-entry 2007, the second year of the cycle will follow a rate/rhythm three months - three months , three months - three months . The rate/rhythm for the apprentices of third year remains as for him unchanged ( six moix - six months ).

Teaching

The school of engineers in alternation Engineers 2000 functions with three entities:
  • the schools partners, where the courses are exempted
  • CFA , managing the administrative part, the relation with the companies and recruitment
  • the company, where the apprentice carries out his alternation

This device is pressed on various schools of formation:

  • CNAM
  • ENSAM
  • ESCPI
  • ISTY
  • UMLV

The exempted courses are not a program reduced compared to a traditional school of engineers . The resulting timetable is thus generally very charged since the nine usual months of course must find their place on six.

The school year is shared between the courses, work directed ( TD ), practical works ( TP ), the projects in group and of course, the track records.

English

To obtain the diploma for the occupation of engineer, the apprentice must validate before the end of his formation an English examination recognized in the professional world. Until this validation, it can benefit from the language laboratory of the school.

Initially, it was about the FCE, whose validation was acquired by obtaining at least the note C. However, since 2006, the school replaced this examination by TOEIC, with a minimal score of 750 for its obtaining.

At the English meetings planned (4h every week for 3,5 months), the apprentices are framed by professors whose English is for the majority the native tongue.

This die is resulting from old school ESITCOM. It has a strong component of software Génie, to which a formal training and practical is added on the networks (TCP/IP, Sécurité network, WiFi, ATM, ISDN, X25,…). The formation is strongly directed towards the projects. It is thus current to have to realize sometimes more than five projects different in the six months from academic sequence.

Localization

UMLV
Part of the school is located in the Copernic building of the campus of the Descartes city, with Champs-sur-Marne (in Seine-et-Marne (77) in extreme cases of the Seine-Saint-Denis (93) and of the the Valley-of-Marne (94)). The courses are exempted by the teacher-researchers of the Université of Marne-the-Valley and the outside contributors. It is in particular in these buildings that dies IR, GMU and MFPI are.

CNAM
Another part of is located in the building of CNAM, with Saint-Denis (in Seine-Saint-Denis (93)). The courses are exempted by the teacher-researchers of CNAM and the outside contributors.

Industrial engineering (methods)

This formation prepares with the diploma of " Qualified engineer of the 3Ecole Nationale Sup3erieure of Arts and Trades, speciality genius industriel".

Engineer Génie ensures the realization of the industrialization of a product. The marketing of a manufactured good requires a logical step implying the solution to problem in technical and economic matters specific of the design and manufacture. The engineer thus controls the techniques of manufacture for the industrialization of a product.

The formation proceeds within the 3Ecole Nationale Sup3erieure of Arts and Trades (ENSAM). It is a school of Engineers since 1907, that is to say one century of know-how. Since 1990, the ENSAM is a Public corporation in Matter Scientific, Culturel and Professional (EPCSCP) of great type establishment, placed under the national supervision of the minister of education, research and technology. It is in volume the 1st school of engineers in France with 1000 graduates per annum all confused formations.

Mécatronique

The Mécatronique die is the most recent die. The first promotion was graduate in 2006.

Maintenance and Reliability of the Industrial Processes

The die maintenance and reliability of the industrial processes train the apprentice engineer with the concept maintenances. It makes it possible to conceive the comprehensive strategy of maintenance of its company as well as the logistics of implementation. It lays out of technical training in mechanics and electricity. The engineer thus trained is an engineer of service which works with external and internal customers with the company.
