Engineering service of the aerial navigation

The Engineering service of the aerial navigation (STNA), service attached to the Ministry for Ecology, the Development and Installation durable, is charged to define, make realize and install the great systems of the Aerial navigation and to assist air control for the benefit of the Direction of the aerial navigation (DNA) which takes up at the same time the role of regulator of the Aerial navigation and the duty of operator of control of the air traffic.

In March 2005, within the framework of the reform of DGAC, CENA and the STNA amalgamated to become the Direction of the technique and the innovation (DTI) of DSNA, new service provider of the French Aerial navigation. Thus, the STNA became the Under direction of the operational systems of the DTI.
