Engelbert Kaempfer

Engelbert Kaempfer , doctor and traveller (1651 - 1716)

He studies with Königsberg, share in Sweden and accompanies the embassy by Sweden in Perse.

Thereafter he was doctor of the Compagnie Dutchwoman of the Eastern Indies, visited the Siam, the China and the Japan.

Returned with Amsterdam in 1693 became doctor of the count Simon August zur Lippe (1727-1782).

It introduced the Acupuncture in Europe.
