The muscular contraction requires the use of energy. There exist several types of energy of which mechanical, calorific or chemical energy. These energies are not create by the man, but it will be able to transform an energy into another.

It is the tri adenosine phosphates (ATP) which will provide chemical energy to the muscular cells and which will be transformed into mechanical energy (movement). It is the only molecule able to provide energy to the muscles.

The reserves of ATP are weak. With a maximum intensity, they would allow efforts only of a few seconds. ATP thus should be reconstituted permanently.
