Endovelicus
Endovelicus (coming from the Celtic Andevellicos , meaning “very good”) is an ancient divinity of origin Lusitanian which was integrated in the Roman Mythologie after the conquest of this area. Endovelicus is the god of health and of the Bien-être and its associated animal is the Sanglier.
The worship of Endovelicus especially developed in Portugal and the south of Spain ( province of Bétique ). There exists a temple dedicated to São Miguel da Mota in the area of the Alentejo in Portugal.
