Enclosure with steps
The pregnant with steps is a type of typical construction of the Art of the Egyptian Ancient Empire intended to reduce the push by jamming between two buttresses. Most famous is that around the funerary complex of Djéser, but one also finds some around the royal funerary complexes of the Moyen Empire.
