Empetraceae

The Empétracées are a family of plants Dicotylédone S. According to Watson & Dallwitz it comprises a score of species divided into 3 kinds:

  • Ceratiola, Corema, Empetrum .
They are small shrubs of the cold zones to moderate of the hemispheres northern and south.

The phylogenetic classification incorporates this family in the Éricacées.
