Emmon de Looz
Emmon , dead the February 5th 1078, was count de Looz of 1046 with 1078. It was wire of Gislebert, count de Looz, and of Erlande de Jodoigne.
Certain historians think that Emmon and its Otton brother jointly directed the Comté of Looz, but others doubt and consider it that they divided the county, Otton receiving the county of Lasted.
Married to Suanehilde, girl of Thierry III Hiérosolymitain, count de Western Frise and of Othelandis de Nordmarck, it had:
- Arnoul Ier († 1139), count de Looz
- Thierry († 1125), count de Horn
- Sophie, married to Henri, count de Schwalemberg
- Mathilde, abbess of Munsterbilsen in 1096
