Philippe Emmanuel Maximilien Marie Eudes of Orleans , “ duke of Vendôme ”, was born on January 18th, 1872, with Méran, and is deceased on February 1st, 1931, with Cannes. It is a French prince of the House of Orleans and a family member royal of Belgium.
The “duke of Vendôme” is the son of the French prince Ferdinand of Orleans (1844-1910), “duke of Alençon”, and his wife the duchess Sophie-Charlotte in Bavaria, sister of the empress Elisabeth of Austria (known as " Sissi") and of the queen Marie of Deux-Siciles, the heroin of Gaëte.
February 12th, 1896, he marries with Brussels the princess Henriette of Belgium, girl of Philippe of Saxony-Cobourg (1837-1905), count de Flandre, and of his wife the princess Marie de Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen (1845-1912). He is thus the brother-in-law of the king Albert Ier of Belgium (1875-1934).
Let us notice in addition that Emmanuel of Orleans and Henriette of Belgium are the both great-grandchildren of the king of the French Louis-Philippe Ier (1773-1850) and of his wife Marie-Amélie de Bourbon (1782-1866), princess of Deux-Siciles.

Marie-Louise of Orleans (1896-1973), which marry in 1916 Philippe de Bourbon (1885-1949), prince of Deux-Siciles and wire of the applicant Alphonse of Bourbon (1841-1934), count de Caserte. They divorce in 1925.

Genevieve of Orleans (1901-1983), which Marie with the marquis Antoine de Chaponay-Morance (1893-1956).
Charles-Philippe of Orleans (1905-1970), “duke of Nemours”, which marries Marguerite Watson (1899-1993) and dies without descent.
Before marrying a princess of Belgium, the “duke of Vendôme” would secretly have married, in 1891, Louise de Maillé of the Tower Landry (1873-1893), died shortly after to have given the day to a fore-mentioned son Philippe (1893-1955), who marries, in 1928, Elisabeth Mirou Mah Nedjid Khanuhii.
