Emmanuel Krivine
Emmanuel Krivine is a Leader French born with Grenoble in 1947 of a Polish mother and a Russian father .
Biography
It begin with the study from the Violon to the Conservatoire from Paris where it obtains its first price at sixteen years. It improves then near Henryk Szeryng and of Yehudi Menuhin.
It is in 1965, after a decisive meeting with the chief Karl Böhm with Salzburg, which it gives up definitively the bow for the rod.
Consequently, it engages an international career of leader which leads it in particular to the Philharmonic orchestra of Radio France of 1976 to 1983 as a permanent invited chief, then to the National orchestra of Lyon of 1987 to 2000 and, since 2006, to the Philharmonic orchestra of Luxembourg from which he is the musical director.
