Emmanuel Guibert is a Dessinateur and Scénariste of Cartoon, born in 1964 with Paris.

After short studies with ENSAD, he undertakes an ambitious album recalling the rise of the Nazisme in Germany in the Thirties, Brune , while exerting as illustrator and story-boarder. The album, of a great technical virtuosity, will appear in 1992, after seven years of work.

Its appearance in the review Rabbit and its participation in the workshop of the Vosges, in company of Frederic Boilet, Emile Cheer, Christophe Blain or Joann Sfar, mark an evolution of its style more purified with the service of lived account. Style which it inaugurates with the War of Alan (prépublié in Lapin) which tells the memories of Alan Ingram Cope, American soldier of the Second world war installed in France, and that it continues with the Photographer according to discussions with Didier Lefèvre, left in Afghanistan in the Eighties.

In parallel, it creates several successful series, in particular Sardine of space and the black Olives with Joann Sfar and the Girl of the professor .
