Emma de Cartosio

Emma de Cartosio is an Argentinian écrivaine French-speaking of great fame, poet, narrator, essay writer and teaching, born with Concepción LED Uruguay, Between Rios, Argentine. It makes its studies in philosophy and sciences of education at the national university of Plata, Universidad Nacional of Plata , in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

The auteure knew to cultivate very distinct kinds, but in Argentina, she especially is very appreciated by her poetry. She belongs to many cultural institutions. In 1963, it was stock exchange for the Hispanic Institute of Culture of Madrid, where it studies Spanish contemporary poetry; on this subject, Cartosio will publish several articles in the principal newspapers of Spain and Argentina. It was collaborator of the several specialized magazines in Spanish and Latin-American Littérature. In 1965 and 1969, it resides at Paris, and a month every year, since then. Like lecturer, it approached the literature in general and poetry in particular, it did it in France, in Latin-American countries, especially in all Argentina. She travelled in Europe, Africa and to the Moyen the East like in many countries of the Latin America; on its voyages she wrote chronicles for the Argentins newspapers, for Nacion , for example.

Écrivaine in Spanish language but also in French, it published at Nathan (edition) an important collection of tales of the Indian folklore, gauchos and historical accounts of Argentina. What registers it among the principal French-speaking writers of Argentina.
