Emma Eckstein
Emma Eckstein (born in 1865 with Vienna and died in 1924) is famous patient of Sigmund Freud, which after its analysis is itself become Psychanalyste. It is resulting from socialist a Viennese big family of tradition, and took an active part in the feminist movement .
At 17 years, she consults Freud for symptoms of intestinal pains and a depressive sydrome related to the Menstruation. He then diagnoses a psychological trauma with sexual abuses in childhood. Wilhelm Fliess, friend of Freud to which this last had addressed its patient operates it nose, at 27 years. The operation is a disaster. Fliess makes a serious error, by forgetting cauteries in the nose of its patient. Réopérée, it will keep serious lesions of them on the face all its life. She wrote a book on the sex education of the children in 1904.
It is one of the patients who still causes the controversy about the abandonment of Freud of her Theory of seduction. Freud questioned this type of assertion at the favor of the phantasm oedipîen regarded in its turn as psycho-traumatogene.
