Emir is a Moslem Titer of nobility. In Arab, RTL rear أمير amîr is that which gives orders, word itself derived from rear verb RTL أَمَرَ will amara (to order).
The term Admiral is derived from rear term RTL أميرالبحر to amir Al Bahr (“emir/king of the sea”)
The territory directed by an emir names emirate.
The word “emir” can mean “prince” (“will émira” designating “princess”) when it nominates a person reigning on a territory, or " général" when it appoints a commander of army.
