Emily Loizeau

Emily Loizeau is an author, compositrice and interprets French, born the February 7th 1975.

Biography

Emily Loizeau was born from a French father and a British mother. She is the grand-daughter of the English actress Peggy Ashcroft. She began her studies of piano at the five years age. After having studied the classical music lasting of the years, it makes three years of theater.

At the end of 2001, it decides to be devoted to the song. Of English mother, she writes in various languages. Its influences are multiple, Georges Brassens, Bob Dylan, the Beatles, Tom Waits, Nina Simone, and Randy Newman. In addition to Bach and Franz Schubert, she likes Renaud since the eleven years age. Made at the same time mélodieux and savage of its songs is closely related to the musical accuracy of his bass player and violoncellist Olivier Koundouno, one of best of his generation. This last was very inspired by not less gifted Nicolas Pannetier, chorus-singer of great talent.
