Emilio Colombo (born the April 14th 1920 with Potenza in Italy) is a Politician Italy N.

Biography

Bachelor of law, elected official appointed for the party of the Christian Democrat to the constituent Assembly in 1946, constantly re-elected with the House of Commons of 1948 to 1992, appointed with the the European Parliament of 1979 to 1980, 1984 to 1987 and 1989 to 1992, president of the council of August 1970 at January 15th, 1972, on several occasions Minister for Agriculture, the Foreign affairs, the Budget, the Foreign trade, Finances, Justice, Industry and the Treasury. President of the European Parliament of 1977 to 1979. It was named Senator with life by the president of the Republic Carlo Azeglio Ciampi in 2003.

It obtained the International prize Charlemagne in 1979. Large officer about the Legion of honor.
