Emile Tamack

Emile Ntamack is a player of Rugby French, born the June 25th 1970 with Lyon, playing station of back, wing three-quarter, or center three-quarter (1,89  m for 92  kg).

It is since the October 24th 2007 trainer of the back lines of the team of France of Rugby.

Called “Milou” or “the Panther black” because of its skin color and its tread, flexible and elegant.

Career of player

After having practiced the Football and the Athletics, Emile Ntamack approached Rugby. Located among juniors, it integrated the die sport-study of the Jolymont college, close to Toulouse then, naturally, the Stade Toulousain. It carried out there all its career (captain as from 1996), building an exceptional prize list: champion of France Reichel 1989 and 1990, champion of France in 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1999 (finalist in 2003), victorious of the Challenge of the Manor (become Coupe de France) in 1993,1995 and 1998 and victorious of the Cut of Europe in 1996 and 2003 (finalist in 2004).

It began in team from France at the time of the Tournoi 1994, fascinating share, a few months later, with the memorable round in New Zealand. With this occasion, it caused the admiration of the one of its adversaries: the young whole Jonah Lomu.

Retained for the World cup 1995, Emile Ntamack was illustrated while registering, in the stops of play, a test against Scotland. That offered to France the first place of its hen, thus avoiding New Zealand in quarterfinals. With the following turn, against Ireland, he was the author of another test, on an interception of master key. These performances were worth to him a nomination in the team-type of the World cup, as well as the Oscar of the Olympic South 1995.

Ntamack gained then the Latin Coupe 1995, the Grand Slam 1997 and was better marker of the Tournoi 1996.

Decreased by a pubalgie, it did not appear any more in national team between January 1997 and November 1998. It is however in full possession of its means that it made its return, being one of the only French to draw his pin from the play at the time of the Tournoi 1999. It carried out in particular a rare exploit: 3 tests registered against Wales (in spite of a defeat this day). That enabled him to finish better marker of the competition. In the tread, it passed from the station of back to that of center to arrive finally of the World cup. This same year saw it finishing better marker of the Cut of Europe.

After a last participation in the Tournament 2000, Emile Ntamack did not appear any more under the blue shirt and stopped his career at the conclusion of the season 2003-2004.

Career of trainer

After its career of player, fascinating the drive charges some with less than 21 years with the Stade Toulousain, it carried out episodical measuring rods during the season 2004-2005 in order to stage the many wounds of the “Stadistes” (in particular a match of Cut of Europe against Glasgow).

In 2005, it deals with the team of France of less than 21 years with which it will become world champion 2006 with players like Lionel Beauxis.

October 24th, 2007, it is in charge of the drive of the backs of the XV of France, shouldering Marc Lièvremont named following Bernard Laporte.

It obtained the Oscar of the Olympic South (better French player of the championship) in 1995.

With the end of the year 1994, it tried to create, with montferrandais Philippe Saint-Andrew, the Narbonnese Laurent Benezech and the palois Laurent Cabannes, a structure joining together the unit of the French players in the course of professionalisation. The adventure turned short, for lack of average materials and financial. The February 12th 1998, with Montferrandais Jean-Marc Lhermet, it then succeeds in finally creating a first National union of the professional players of Rugby which will become Provale the October 8th 2001. The two players were helped in that by Remi Trémoulet, Jean-Michel Delgado and Pascal Valleau. Today Provale account more than 500 members.

His/her brother, Francis Tamack, was him also selected in team of France.
