Emile Lord of the manor
Emile Louis Marie Chatelain (Montrouge on November 25th 1851 - Paris November 26th 1933) is famous a Latin ist of the beginning of the century.
Member of the French School of Rome (1876-1877) and director of studies with the E.P.H.E, it was elected member of the Académie of the inscriptions and the humanities in 1903.
He was at the origin of the republication of the dictionary French-Latin of Quicherat and Daveluy.
