Emile Joulain

Emile Joulain , called the Guy Mile , is a French writer born with Mazé in the Low-Country from the valley from the Authion in 1900, died in 1989.

He was a small market-gardener of banks of Authion, " pésan" (peasant) in the heart, related to its ground of Anjou and on its royal river, the " Loère".

; To maintain living the cultural heritage angevin With his/her friend Charles Antoine, alias Mister Andre Al, another poet of very known Anjou, they had the idea to write a mass of Christmas adapted to the country angevin. They worked all the two few months with the development of seven songs in patois, so that old Anjou reappears, in particular through the tradition of Christmas: the Naulets of Anjou.

He was full member of the theatrical troop of the Trestles of the Loire and of the Mask to the Broom which had creates his/her friend Rene Rabault (creative of the Festival of Angers, the future Festival of Anjou).
