Emile Cornudet of Chaumettes

Louis-Joseph-Emile Cornudet of Chaumettes born the February 19th 1855 with Paris, dead September 2nd 1921 with Boulogne-sur-Mer (Pas-de-Calais), is a French politician.
Wire of the Viscount Joseph-Alfred Cornudet of Chaumettes, grandsons of Etienne-Emile and great-grandsons of Joseph, hardly sixteen years old, it takes share with the Franco-German Guerre of 1870, where it is characterized by his bravery. After the death of the deputy of the second district of Aubusson (Digs), Jean-Amédée Faure, it presents in January 1882 to the by-election. With the poll of ballotage of the February 12th, he is elected by 4.486 votes out of 8.841 voters and 11.901 registered voters against Louis Jezierski. Sitting initially on the benches of the radical left, he becomes member of the group of the Republican Union of Gambetta and presents on the opportunist list department of the Creuse the October 4th 1885. He obtains, with the first turn, 20.591 votes out of 52.289 voters, before being elected, the October 18th, with the second turn, the fourth and the last by 33.938 votes out of 47.042 voters and 77.801 registered voters.
Re-elected the September 22nd 1889 in the second district of Aubusson to the first ballot by 3.562 votes out of 6.875 voters, it enters various special subcommittees of the Room.
Without competitor, he is once again re-elected with the first ballot the August 20th 1893 by 6.534 votes out of 7.094 voters and seat at the commission of the army and that of the railroads. the department of Hollow with the Room during 20 years of 1882 with 1902. Very fortunate, it buys in 1895 the newspaper the Lantern . Then the voters of the district of Aubusson re-elect it as of the first ballot the May 8th 1898 by 13.017 votes out of 18.982 voters.
However, its health is degraded and it must give up its parliamentary activity; it is not represented in 1902. It is withdrawn in a private hospital to Boulogne-sur-Mer, where it dies in 1921 at the 66 years age.
Mayor of Crocq, it also represented the canton at the General advice of the Hollow one, of which it was appointed secretary.
