Emile Benveniste

Emile Benveniste , born with Alep in Syria the May 27th 1902 and died in Paris the October 3rd 1976, is a linguist French which was illustrated by its work in the field of the compared Grammaire of the Indo-European Langues, like in general linguistics.
Raise Antoine Meillet, he taught with the practical École of the high studies as from 1927 and with the Collège de France as from 1937. In 1961, it founded with Claude Lévi-Strauss and Pierre Gourou, the Man, French review of anthropology .
