Emile Bégin
Emile Bégin was born with Metz on April 24th 1802. Doctor and historian he lived with Metz then a certain time with Paris where he was librarian with the National library. He died in Nancy in 1864.
He published many historical works of which a history of Lorraine in six volumes and a history of the Kingdom of Austrasie in four volumes. He published historical tests and notes on Metz, Nancy, Neufchâteau, various characters historical of which Napoleon but also of the medical works. He took part in several reviews like the memories of the Academy of Metz and Austrasie (re-examined encyclopedic).
