Emil Jannings

Of its true name Theodor Emil Janens, Emil Jannings (born the July 23rd 1884 with Rorschach, in Swiss, and dead the January 3rd 1950 of a cancer, with Strobl, in Austria) is a German Acteur of Swiss origin.

Regarded as one of the largest actors of the German cinema of the beginning of the 20th century, if it is not largest any more by some, he interpreted roles remained in the anthologies, in particular with Friedrich Murnau ( the Last of the men , Faust, a German legend ) and Josef von Sternberg ( the blue Angel ).
