Emigrant
Definition
The emigrated is that which left the place where it was for another place, another country, in order to settle there durably. The “emigrating” substantive has a slightly different direction; the emigrant indeed is that which leaves the place where it is at the time when it does it.The emigration can have several causes:
- economic: the search of an employment, a larger prosperity, better work conditions. It is the leading cause of current emigration;
- political: the escape of an oppressive mode; it is the case of many aristocrats at the time of the French revolution; religious
- : the hope of a more tolerant land of welcome;
- climatic: taste for a different weather environment (in general hotter and sunnier);
- tax: will to place itself in legal and more favorable financier. This phenomenon plays particularly for the highest layers of the company and in favor of tax shelters (Monaco, the Suisse, the the Cayman Islands).
Current emigration
For various reasons, one moves more and more and one settles more and more far (increased facility of the means of displacement, economic universalization, desire of discovered…). The question is to know until where this migratory phenomenon will go; but it is quite difficult to answer this interrogation. The principal migratory flux is today rather in the direction south-north, the inhabitants of the poorest countries hoping to find living conditions better for them and their family in the richer countries. The most developed countries know a largely positive migratory balance thus and seek to limit the Immigration. An opposite migratory flux exists but is limited much more. It relates to on the one hand an easy, and sometimes reprocessed population which seeks more lenient climatic conditions.
Emigration tomorrow
It is allowed to think that the migratory phenomenon will be being accentuated on Ground and further thereafter if one finds the means of being installed durably elsewhere than on our Planet. Can be, are us, in the presence of quasi infinite possibilities.
